Insurance

I currently do not accept insurance.

Payment

I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept checks and cash. Payment must be provided at each session.

Cancellations

To avoid a late-cancellation fee, I kindly ask that cancellation notice is provided at least 24 hours before the start of your session time.

Superbills

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. I am able to provide invoices (superbills) of your sessions that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

I also partner with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. In order to get started, you first sign up for Mentaya. My practice will then enter your sessions into the platform. Subsequently, Mentaya will submit the claim and handle any insurance follow-up. Afterward, patients can get reimbursed by insurance. Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies. Mentaya guarantees claims are successfully submitted or patients receive a full refund of their fees.

Good Faith Estimate

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, which includes psychotherapy services. You can request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment with me.
